Shaman vs. Paladin

Blizzard dropped a bombshell on the official World of Warcraft Web site today when it announced that the upcoming Burning Crusade expansion will allow players to have Alliance Draenei Shaman and Horde Blood Elf Paladins. This marks the first time the Alliance will have access to Shamans, and the Horde will have access to Paladins. Whiners everywhere now have to find something else to complain about in Warsong Gulch, since everyone can have "*@#$ Pallies in a Bubble" or "*@#$ Shamans."

As of right now, the classes available to the Draenei are Shaman, Warrior, Priest, Paladin, Mage, Shaman, and Hunter, while the classes available to the Blood Elves are Warrior, Mage, Rogue, Priest, Warlock, and Paladin. As always, this information is subject to change between now and the expansion's release.
